Guizhou is located in south west China. It is a mountainous province that has many interesting rural villages which are home to several different ethnic minority groups such as the Dong and the Miao. Discover the area of Anshun where the impressive Dragon Palace caves can be seen, as well as the stunning Huangguoshu Waterfalls.

2016 – 17

Day 1 Guiyang, Huangguoshu (LD)
Take a flight to Guiyang. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Huangguoshu, on the way visiting Dragon Palace Cave.

Day 2 Huangguoshu Waterfalls, Guiyang (BLD)
After breakfast, travel to Anshun. Take a visit to Huangguoshu waterfalls, the largest in Asia. Return to Guiyang, stopping en-route at Tianlong village where the locals have preserved the living customs of the Ming Dynasty.

Day 3 Guiyang, Kaili (BLD)
This morning take a pleasant 3-hour drive to Kaili. Visit the fascinating Langde Long Skirt Miao village.

Day 4 Kaili (BLD)
Today you will visit Matang village. You will appreciate the traditional Gejia batik in the village, and learn the art of batik making. Continue driving towards Shiqiao Miao
village, before returning to Guiyang.

Day 5 Guiyang and onward journey (B)
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Guiyang airport to catch your onward flight.
