2016 – 17

Day 1 To Datong (B)
Take a morning train to Datong. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Datong (BLD)
Visit the Yungang Caves and the 1400 year old Hanging Monastery.

Day 3 Datong to Pingyao (BLD)
Take the train to Taiyuan. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Pingyao.

Day 4 Pingyao (BLD)
A World Heritage Site. This town offers a great insight into the architectural styles of Imperial China. Highlights include the Ancient City Wall, Ancient Ming and Qing Street. The Rishengchang Financial House Museum, Zhengguo Temple and Shuang Lin Temple.

Day 5 Taiyuan to Zhengzhou (BLD)
Drive from Taiyuan to visit the Twin Pagoda Temple, then take the train to Zhengzhou.

Day 6 Zhengzhou to Luoyang (BLD)
Travel by coach to visit the Shaolin Temple in the Songshan Mountains and watch a Kung Fu performance. Afterwards we will drive to Luoyang and stay overnight.

Day 7 Luoyang to Zhengzhou (BLD)
Drive to the UNESCO listed Longmen Grottoes. Afterwards take the bullet train to Beijing.
