2016 – 17

Day 1 To Taipei
Take your flight to Taipei. Upon arrival, met and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 Taipei city tour (B)
This morning enjoy a half day city tour, pass by the Presidential Office and visit the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. Next the National Palace Museum and a visit to traditional Taiwanese Temple and a Handicraft Centre.

Day 3 Taipei to Sun Moon Lake (B)
Tour around the lake and visit Wenwu Temple, the Ita Thao Indigenous Village, Tse En Pagoda and the Holy Monk Shrine.

Day 4 Sun Moon Lake to Kaohsiung (B)
Drive to Foguangshan Buddhist Monastery, the biggest in Taiwan. Visit the Main Shrine, Great Buddha Land, Buddha Statue and the Former British Consulate, Liuho Night Market and the Love River In Kaohsiung.

Day 5 Kaohsiung to Taitung (B)
Visit Maopitou, The 21m high Oluanpi Light house is known as the ‘East Asian Light’ and Kenting National Park with mountains, forests, lakes, sand dunes, beaches, and coral reefs.

Day 6 Taitung to Hualien (B)
Drive to Hualien along the East Coast Highway.

Day 7 Hualien and onward journey (B)
Drive to the Taroko Gorge Gateway, visit the Eternal Spring Shrine, the Swallow Grotto and the Tunnel of Nine Turns. Stop off at a Marble Factory before driving to Taipei.
