Day 1 UK to Beijing
Take your flight from the UK to Beijing. Flights from regional airports are available on request.
Day 2 Arrive Beijing (D)
Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel for a three night stay. Opportunity to relax before your guide will escort you for dinner.
Day 3 Beijing City Tour (BL)
In the morning you will visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors worshipped the god of heaven and prayed for good harvests for the year. This will be followed by a stroll through Tiananmen Square, the biggest square in the world. Finally, there will be a visit to the Forbidden City which served as the grand imperial palace for centuries. In the evening enjoy an exciting Kung Fu show.
Day 4 Great Wall (BLD)
Today visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu, a post along the wall offering breathtaking views in a less crowded atmosphere. This will be followed by an opportunity for photographs at the Birds Nest Stadium and Water Cube, venues for the memorable 2008 Olympics and 2015 World Championships. In the evening enjoy a Peking Duck Dinner, a traditional delicacy and a culinary must.
Day 5 Train to Xian (B)
Morning at leisure. Transfer to the station to take the bullet train to Xian. Transfer upon arrival to your hotel.
Day 6 Terracotta Warriors (BL)
Today your guide will take you to visit the Terracotta Warriors, a stunning collection of 10,000 life size statues of the Chinese army made over 2,000 years ago. In the afternoon spend time at the Ancient City Wall in Xian, and enjoy a bike ride along the wall. Evening at leisure.
Day 7 Fly to Chengdu (B)
In the morning, learn how to do the Chinese art of calligraphy. Later you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Day 8 Chengdu (BL)
In the morning arrive at the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre. Here naturalistic habitats have been created to provide the best possible environment for rearing and breeding pandas. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 9 Fly to Shanghai (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai, and upon arrival to your accommodation. Tonight you will enjoy an Acrobatic show performance.
Day 10 Shanghai City Tour (BLD)
The first attraction of the day will be the Yu Yuan Gardens, home to beautiful pavilions, walkways, streams, courtyards and flowers. Enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River to admire the sights of Shanghai from the water. Visit the waterfront attraction of the Bund to experience Shanghai as a modern metropolis. Later, on top of the Shanghai World Financial Centre, you can enjoy a breathtaking bird’s eye view of the whole city.
Day 11 Shanghai Disneyland (B)
You will be transferred to Shanghai Disneyland to enjoy an action-packed and magical day at this exciting theme park, before returning to your accommodation later in the day.
Day 12 Shanghai to UK (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.

Beijing: Regent Hotel
